Responsibilities of an Associate, Account Management

  • Meet minimum daily numbers for service requests, cross selling, and quoting activity
  • Answer 20-30 incoming and at least 50 outbound customer calls daily
  • Help answer customer questions, explain benefits, and proactively follow up with them regarding their policies
  • Search for opportunity to retain customers by educating them on ways to save money, coverage updates, product features, and additional services available
  • Be a team player – help creatively find solutions to solve problems
  • Treat every customer like they are family

What are the first few weeks like?

  • Every Associate, Account Management is provided online study materials when they arrive on day 1. The first few weeks will balance studying for your Property & Casualty License, answer and pass incoming/outbound calls to the licensed team, and learning about Allstate products
  • Your first goal is to ask a LOT of questions and be ready to pass the P&C insurance exam within two weeks of joining the agency. It typically requires about 40 hours of study time which will include nights and weekends in the first two weeks
